Margaret nee White Eggleston (Mrs Owen) (1878-? ) was an American teacher, and instructor in story telling at the School of Religious Education and Social Service at Boston University. She is most well known for her works for children, and her studies of storytelling, including: The Use of the Story in Religious Education (1920), Fireside Stories for Girls in Their Teens (1921), Womanhood in the Making (1923) and Thirty Stories I Like to Tell (1949).
