The Smithsonian American Art Museum Indie Arcade is the first event of its kind to take place at a world-renowned cultural institution. What began as a local showcase of independent games in 2014 has now grown to include developers from 17 states and 6 countries. Beyond simply showcasing fun games, this event seeks to give games their place among famous artworks by presenting them as both fun and expressive.
