Illusions of Her represents, through art and poetry, the journey of searching for one's soul mate. As the journey unfolds, the soul mate is discovered with feelings of desire and longing, which may change over time. The question that arises is whether this is the woman one wants or the woman one has been conditioned to desire. It is then that a journey of discovery begins, taking shape to comprehend and appreciate the one who is our soul mate. Once one looks past the surface, one sees beyond the flaws and imperfections. It is here that true discovery begins as an evolution of the soul that reaches a higher state of being. Of course, the seeker must be ready for it. Once beyond the illusion, one begins to connect to something higher, something finer, something deeper. Here true love is possible, love that is transcendent. This requires self-awareness, self-sacrifice, and self-realization. If this is achieved, one can see beyond the illusion to the true essence of being: Love.
