This book of poetry reflects the human condition as it develops from the youthful romanticism of life to the profoundly sad, but paradoxical and beautiful realization that all of life is a march towards death. Along the way, the voices created in these poems reflect cynicism, loss, and death as they desperately grapple for meaning and purpose, all in an attempt to touch an indifferent universe. But more than anything, this is a book about human relationships as people huddle close together in the face of death and a mad world.
