Words and Colors
Eman Shaban
This book is an illustrated manuscript of poetry, in both Arabic and English, that attempts to reflect upon the human experience in the form of the written word and painting. Eman Shaban, a writer and a poet, uses the Arabic language to present her experiences, fears, and aspirations to the reader. Moh'd Bilbeisi, an artist, uses his watercolors to illustrate the poems and emotions associated with the poetry. This work was conceived with both authors living and working at separate countries, never have met or knew each other before this project was initiated. It is the fruit of an idea that was started four year before the publishing date.
