Truth to Vipers is set in an imaginary country named Shoboko and mirrors the character of vital institutions of a modern State in interface with political corruption. Despite the risks, individuals like the protagonist, Dr. Ishaka Wada, assert their conviction in order to hasten the realisation of their dream State. The tension and conflict reach a boiling point, about to explode into a conflagration. Then a stroke of wisdom restores the balance, and all is well again. In the end, Shoboko is a nation redeemed by truth spoken at grave personal risk.
