Penelope, a remarkable young lady, was raised on a farm in the 1920's. Being one of nine children, she and her family faced hardship, but in spite of it all, she was never discouraged. But rather, left behind a legacy of reaching for one's goals, and living a life as an example for others to follow. Our second story is about a young man raised by his grandmother in her boarding house. As a boy, he dreamed of adventure as he listened to the exciting stories told by a retired sea captain. After being drafted into the army, he finds adventure, but it's not the kind he was looking for. Who knows when a hero is born, or anyone of us are called upon to serve God and mankind? These two stories tell of courage in the face of danger and great challenges.
