This book is a historical novel about two men who had absolutely nothing in common but whose destinies were intertwined. Aleksandar did not walk, he glided. He glided like some Native Americans. Guide was baptized Gilles when he was about 20 years old. Gilles always had the feeling that Aleksandar cheated in some way and did not really save his life. Gilles only almost obtained a diploma from Yale Law School. Aleksandar considered his three years at the famous Kresty Prison in Saint Petersburg was equal to any university eduction. When finally Aleksandar became an Infiltration Agent and Bounty Hunter in the famous Burlington Detective Agency, he was happy until a Denver Mayor decided that he was not good for Denver's image. Aleksandar was born a Nomad and raised in a Nomad group along the Amur River which separated Russia from China for almost 2000 miles. Gilles was an Apache, who learned English at about 19 or 20 years old. He entered the Yale Law School at the age of 28.
