This selection of plays contains four titles of like styles. Elihu's Folly is a light comedy that asks if life is as dark and inscrutable as some say. One of the Family involves the Armenian world of Church and young romance. The Widower is an existential play involving a misanthrope eventually caring for a waif. And A Charmed Life speculates upon the circumstances that justify a man's playing God. In all they entertain with a language that imitates the natural cadence of speech and with themes that are both renaissance and as recognizable as modern life. 2005-2008.
