Circle of Sorrow is the second book in The Circle Trilogy. After the confrontation at Gunther Reichart's castle, all the men that murdered Nathan's parents are dead and Gunther has disappeared. Nathan and Daniel return to the Pacific Islands for a long rest but an assassin has been sent there to kill Nathan, Gunther believing that Daniel died in the castle when he shot him. Surprised to see the twins on the beach the assassin chooses his target on a coin toss. One of them lays mortally wounded in the surf as the killer prepares to kill the other for sport anyway. If the shot brother cannot be taken to a hospital within the hour, he will die but the island is a thousand miles from anywhere. The final book, Full Circle, will be available soon.
