Contributor Bio:  Playfair, John John Playfair (1931-2013) was a long standing professor of Immunology at University College London. A keen musician and writer, he was the author of a number of Immunology textbooks and crime novels; some set in English universities, others in Corsica. 3 of his early novels were published in the late 1950's: Pursued by a Bear, Andiamo and The Dying Art. This is the first of his later novels to be published. All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to educational and musical charities which he supported.
