In this prequel to "The Enchanted Beauty: A Story of Love and Reconciliation" we see one young heroic man going in search of adventure in the mysterious eastern forest of Elf Land. He goes there on the basis of a rumor about a young couple who are under the enchantment of the Black Witch of the Woods. In his attempt to rescue the couple he learns the mystery and evil of the woods is far greater and more different than he ever imagined! The story takes place in the fantasy world of The Five Lands which was introduced in the "Agorgiton" novels.
