To My Granddaughter with Love Jeanette Christy

In 2018, the pastor of my church challenged us to handwrite a prayer for seven consecutive days and give it to our grandchildren.

My son had just lost his job, and times were tough. So for seven days, I made prayer cards which included my "art," a message, and a prayer for not only my grandsons but for my son and his wife as well.

For seven nights, they would read their prayers at the dinner table and felt encouraged, knowing they were not only loved by family but more so by God. God has promised to be there in times of troubles, and He fulfilled His promise by helping my son find the perfect job.

Teens today are facing many challenges, and too many are contemplating suicide; they can't see the purpose for their existence. I pray this book will help show them that they are loved and offer some advice on challenges they may face. But most importantly, to let them know they can rely on God; He will never leave them nor forsake them when they put their trust in Him.
