The 21st century church is on a collision course with the homosexual culture - and love requires the church to respond like Jesus did. Mark Abshier, Pastor of MacArthur Park Church of Christ in San Antonio shares, "...this issue cannot be approached one-dimensionally, that is, to declare it to be sin but go no further. Homosexuality is sin, and that is a starting point. But the Great Commandment and the Great Commission compel us to do more." It is no longer enough for the church to oversimplify the Biblical references on this subject, and use them to reject and exclude an entire segment of society from a loving relationship with the One who created and loves them. There's too much at stake, and it demands we take a comprehensive look at what the Bible says about the sin of homosexuality in light of the sin that so easily entangles us - The Acceptable Sin.
