The From Alone to A Home Collection is a series of shelter stories all inspired by true events. Mr. Misunderstood tells the tale of a terrified stray cat who is taken from his familiar life on the streets and is forced to coexist with humans at the local animal shelter...something he is not comfortable doing. The shelter staff find him scrappy and feisty and have a hard time handling him. They have to remember the importance of patience and trust as they try to befriend him. Will he ever come around to become an approachable, friendly cat? A portion of the proceeds from sales of these books will be donated to help provide care and comfort for animals in animal shelters.
