Did he turn on his friends in the SS/SD, was it his sordid friends in the Parisian organized crime underworld... or did the wife find being a widow the best new fashion statement for the winter season of 1936. This starts a new case for this intrepid pair, once again they plunge into the vibrant and seductive city of Lights, the sophisticated cafes and nightclubs of the interwar period.
