Upside Down, Inside Public Education
Wayne B Simeone
Public Education today, as has been the case over the past many years, is a crisis happening in plain sight and it only gets worse as each year passes. In a semi-autobiographical fashion, the author, who is a long-standing educator of nearly four decades, exposes the "unsavory underbelly" inside the "upside down" world of our public schools. He highlights the misguided and unethical attempts to fix things by our suspect "powers that be" and agenda driven politicians. The goal is to bring awareness to the public and challenge our leaders at the federal, state and local levels to address this "mess" rationally and do it yesterday.
