Every coach in pro football has his own kind of headaches. Gregory Croder, Head Coach of the Denver Snowcats also had his. In this case, the headache's name was Delton P. Burnell, the team's arrogant kicker, a man who doesn't care what anyone else thinks, including Coach Croder. Later, Burnell invites the team and the cheerleaders to an unauthorized party at his house where he is later found dead. For all his on-field perfection, he also had at least one imperfection, his allergy to Cayenne Pepper. Was this what killed him? Was it used to murder him? and, more importantly, who killed him? Soon, uniformed officers and plainclothes detectives investigate. But, so do Private Investigators Diane Darvin and her best friend, roommate and work partner Kendra Adams. Will they sack a killer?
