BrainTalk is a story aimed at young readers aged between 8 - 12 years old. It is the 1st book in a series of short stories, told from the perspective of Ben, a boy on the cusp of growing up and discovering who he is. Written by a psychologist and mum of three, this is the first book in the 'BrainTalk series.. As well we being an engaging story, it also brings the young reader to a new understanding about how they can make sense of the world better through how they think. The books are written in such a way that they can be read out aloud by a parent to their child as a bedtime story, or by the child themselves. If in the early years a child can learn some tools to help them to understand and manage their own mind, this will make them emotionally stronger longer term. These short stories are fictional and written for a wide audience but have been inspired by real life situations.
