I am sharing my very personal and true story because I know there are so many beautiful people out there that have suffered some of the same abuse that I have endured. I was an abandoned un-named baby girl at birth. At five years old, I was kidnapped by my father, who for many years inflicted horrific mental, physical and sexual abuse on me. Because of that abuse, I was also told I would probably never be able to have any children. My father was finally shot and sent to prison. Unforgiveness became my prison. I finally realized that unforgiveness doesn't affect the abuser, but the one who is holding on to unforgiveness. My life was unbearable until I found a way to complete peace. Forgiving my father set me free and took me down a wonderful path. I now have a wonderful marriage of forty-five years and two incredible, healthy sons. My hope is that you also will find a life of joy, peace, fulfillment, and forgiveness that set me free. There is absolutely a way to overcome your heartaches. You are a broken vessel and can be mended.
