Although the people in this novel are fictional the problems they face can and are real. So many emotions are endured through our lives and often many of those emotions ned a series of good communications to help overcome them. So many breakdowns occur because of bad communications between those involved. In this modern world of communications there are so many that we as people use. From social media, telephone, and texts as well as E-mails, and face to face contact, These are short time ways and can easily be soon forgotten. A written letter is a record of what we wanted to say and can be kept as a memory of that communication. The skill of letter writing is slowly being eroded as we all begin to use these modern ways of communicating with others and in some cases thousands as we use the social media often quite wrongly. The fact that letters were involved in these cold cases helped the detectives to come to terms with who and what they were investigating.
