After the passing of her beloved Nanna Summer comes face to face with some harsh realities about her life. At the very beginning of her most formidable years she discovers that Nanna wasn't the loving great-grandmother that she thought she was. To top that off she also comes to realizations about everyone in her life. The absence of her father that didn't seem to bother her before. The drug addiction of her mother that she was too young and naive to novice. The unwillingness of her grandparents to help her. Summer's life was going downhill fast and so she decided to take matters into her own hands. She however didn't realize what she was getting herself into. Drugs, sex, violence, Summers actions introduced her to a world that she knew nothing about. Now in a desperate attempt to save whatever life she has left Summer makes decisions that will change her life forever.
