Lou shares stories about his indoctrination in a Fundamentalist college and his experience as a pastor. He explains the psychology of faith, describes the problems of religious entanglement in American politics. Lou shares why he left the faith, how that was affected by his rejection of the Bible as divinely inspired, and how he is able to appreciate it as valuable human literature.
