A small Georgia town is burning. On the heels of an invasion by an unknown enemy, power is knocked out across the country. Attacked by outsiders, Bartel closes its doors to the world. A wall is built to keep intruders out, but it also keeps everyone in. Each day is a struggle to survive as old disagreements surface. Two brothers on different sides of the law navigate a tumultuous relationship while facing a new, powerless existence. The sheriff finds himself trying to maintain order when no one wants order. He and his small-town deputies face perils they never imagined. The burnout finds even when given a new start, he's still on the losing end. He soon finds himself in over his head when he hooks up with a band of outlaws, inevitably bringing hell on Earth to his brother, to order, and to his hometown.
