Introduction

This program, through class discussions, explores unhumanistic forces of racism at the students' experiential level, encouraging them to empathize with and show compassion to others.

Resources for discussions:

1. Students' opinions and experiences;

2. Teacher's knowledge of problems racism causes; and

3. Videos that feature unlikely friendships in the animal world (as found on youtube video-streams).

For each of 20 weeks, students view one of 20 youtube video-streams, and construct a web that they daily add information to, based on the discussion topic of the week. Truths implied by the video-streams: Racism is both illogical and unhumanistic.
