Within this book you will find a collection of songs, poems, and what could be considered 20th Century Sea Shanties. Many were written, but some gleaned from his 22 years of service in the Navy. These were sang and shared throughout the night at Officers clubs throughout the Pacific. My parents threw parties and had Navy officers, as well as from other countries, over, and I can remember being rattled out of bed to the fun and laughter as they sangs though the night. They are from an area that runs from the Korean War through Viet Nam. Some of the content is a bit raunchy, but you have to understand that this was their way of blowing off steam.
