In 2019, she became the first female general counsel of a USL soccer franchise in the league's 25 years of existence. She has a list of firsts, which include being the first black attorney nominated and confirmed to the environmental control hearing board in Palm Beach County, in their 30 years of existence (2014), and the first black female general counsel panelist at the Daily Business Review's Legends of the Boardroom (2016).
