Huw Beynon was born on the sunny side of a Welsh hillside on the 26th and the 28th of November in the Year of the Horse. Yes, right from the "Oops!" moment that led to conception, life was clearly programmed to be a laugh a minute, sometimes two. Over the past three years - from Brexit and Trumpety Trump to Social Media and Huawei - he has embraced the joy and the doolallyness of the passing parade as observed from the grassy knoll, essentially with hat set at a jaunty angle and a little ball bouncing along above the words. Huw and Smile is a suitable antidote to the common law expression 'hue and cry', where bystanders are summoned to assist in the apprehension of someone witnessed in the act of committing a crime - and there's an awful lot of hue and cry about these days. Given that humanity is not hard-wired to handle too much reality, you are cordially invited to float up, up and away above all the noise, the chaos and the confusion of the modern world. Happy days are here again.
