Bryce Diggins is a brilliant, but sheltered young college student who keeps to himself and to the quiet life. But everything he knows about the world is turned upside down when he buys an old mirror from an antique shop. Together with his friend Fred Carver, they discover that the mirror has magic properties. Within the mirror, they discover a mysterious young woman who doesn't exist in their world, and Bryce is convinced she needs their help. Together, Bryce and Fred attempt to unlock the mysteries of the mirror and the realm that exists inside it. In the process, they are confronted by forces well beyond their understanding as they embark in the adventure of a lifetime. Dogged by an evil wizard who wishes to trap Bryce, the two friends are forced to enter into a conflict of wizardry and war which will leave them holding the fate of two worlds in their hands.
