Cassidy Wyatt is always running late for work and always seems to be a hot chaotic mess with her work life and personal life. One morning when Cassidy wakes up late for work, anything that could go wrong as she's getting ready for work, goes wrong. As she's driving to work, she rear-ends another car. But this isn't a typical rear-ending incident, this rear-ending incident starts to change her life. The guy she runs into, Dalton Brooks, isn't an ordinary guy. There's something different about him, but she can't pinpoint what it is. Dalton begins to pursue her, and at first, Cassidy begins to go for it, but once she finds out who he really is, she's hesitant about dating him, but Dalton doesn't give up. As Dalton and Cassidy's relationship begins to grow, and Cassidy finds herself really falling for him, things start to get a little complicated as Cassidy's anxiety about the relationship also gets complicated. Cassidy works hard to fight her own anxiety to keep her relationship intact. Until one day, when Cassidy let's her anxiety get the best of her, tragedy strikes.
