The Optimistic Futurian started out as a social experiment to combat the daily struggle of social media and the 24-hour news cycle. The pessimistic ranting and negativity drove me to create a series of short stories about the world my son will inherit from an optimistic perspective. These 17 stories don't show a dystopian nightmare of zombies or mutants. Instead, they show a younger generation tasked with the survival of the human race flourishing in spite of all criticism. From tera-forming Mars to creating an intelligent response to the growing student loan crisis this generation does what we only dreamed.
