Living on the streets of a half-empty city decimated by the Big Three, the upcoming winter and Trevor's anger toward life force him into a happenstance living situation within a long-lost prohibition closet in the Delila's home. The fear of being found morphs into a menu of phobias, some not yet documented by mental health disorder professionals. Nearly ten years of poor nutrition, drug abuse, and self-mutilation take its toll on Trevor's body until it is on the verge of failure. With death (and the Delilas) knocking on his door, Trevor must decide whether he will cease to exist or venture back out into a world that has only recently shown him a glimmer of hope in the form of the Delila's daughter, Teagan.
