Maarika is a quiet and smart 13 year old girl, who lives beside a field of bluebells. Life is hard for her. She is constantly being picked on and everyone calls her a "changeling". But things start to change one night while she is watching the fireflies, as she finds herself spirited away to Fedelim, the kingdom of the Fae. Here, Maarika finds her real parents and discovers that she had been switched at birth with a human girl, and that Maarika is the lost crown princess of the fairies! But before she can rejoin her family, she must go on a dangerous mission to save the girl she was switched with from the evil Swamp Dragon, who has been kidnapping changelings right out of the kingdom. Will Maarika be able to save Myrna before the moon sets?
