ABOUT THE STORY: He tried writing a letter to Santa Claus, to make a request to bring his mother home from the hospital. After his letter was unanswered, so he thought, he started out to look for this fictional character. His name was Daniel, an above average, intelligent nine year-old whose wish was for his mother to get well. His wonder for Santa Claus began five years earlier, around the time his father passed away. Daniel started his plight to find Santa Claus. Daniel is under the heavenly wings of protection by a guardian angel. During Daniel's plight, gets lost on his way, making it tougher to find Santa Claus so he can fulfill his wish. But Daniel learns the real reason for the season when he looked in through to a colorful window and saw a nativity scene in a play rehearsed by the children of the church. Then he discovered that the birth of Jesus Christ is the true meaning of Christmas. He then learned the real reason to celebrate the holiday season.
