Science is about problem solving and the world is a stage where problems always arise and are solved by champions. Fortunately for us, children are born as problem solvers. Their world is full of curiosity and creativity, imagination and innovation. These traits, if properly channeled, will transform them into champions. The goal of this book is simple. To make the children champions of their environment by teaching them about nature with emphasis on weather and climate, meteorological instruments, climate change and global warming and how each of them can play a part in making the world around them a climate friendly society which is for the greater good of all of us. My weather Companion, the 'I am' series is crafted to stimulate passion and interest of the children on everything weather which will stay with them throughout their lifetime irrespective of their career path. My weather Companion, the 'I am' series for ages 6 - 7 years is designed to help spur the pupil's critical thinking and problem solving skills as an individual and as part of a team. The book closes with word list which the pupils are also expected to learn and add to their vocabulary.
