Sacrifice - the act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.


We all make sacrifices. It's a part of life. But when someone decides another's life is more important than their own, then we're talking about sacrifices impossible to make.

Yet they are made nonetheless.

It is in our blood and in our nature--to heal, to save, to bring life back from the dead. But for some of us, it isn't worth the pain we endure, and instead of sacrificing our suffering for theirs, we run.

But when a two-hundred-year-old vengeance, and a government determined to use us as test subjects, finally catch up, we find ourselves out of time with no place left to go. And I am left lying in a hospital bed waiting for a new heart, leaving Ethan and Storm to figure out a plan to save us from our fates. But first, we have to get Ethan and Storm to agree on a plan. And then, we have to get them to stop loving me. Because if they don't...one of them will make the ultimate sacrifice, and I'd rather die than allow that to happen.
