How Do You Catch a Falling Star? is a story about the bottomless, innocent imagination of a child. Instead of going to sleep, a little boy tries to catch a wayward star -- that has wandered to Earth -- for his very own. With the help of his trusty "kitty companion" they imagine a day of endless adventure trying to capture a star in a variety of rhyming ways. Will they do it? Can they catch a star? The story was inspired when the author caught her then three-year old son balanced atop their 6-foot tall swing set in his starry pajamas reaching for another celestial body -- the moon.
