Christian Historical Fiction. The story of Jesus and His family from the fictional viewpoint of Jesus' mother, Mary of Nazareth, wife of Joseph the Carpenter. Mary tells how her submission to the Lord leads to a Miraculous Pregnancy which brings cruel gossip, threats from monstrous evil, and a soul-piercing sword. The story relates the reactions of Jesus's brothers to His earthly ministry and their misunderstanding and rejection of Him. It tells of the rift in Jesus' family between Mary and her sons because of their unbelief and Mary's perspective on Jesus' crucifixion. It also tells how news of Jesus' resurrection leads to His brothers finally believing on Him and accepting Him as their own Messiah and Savior.
