A light Steampunk novel that travels from dirty city life to a lush tropical island he calls home, Pakuu. The Captain had bought a luxury airship and converted the bottom deck to carry cargo after he retired early from the military. He enjoys the quiet of transporting people and cargo. This quiet life comes to an end when he and the crew launch in a heavy storm, fly out over the sea and rescue Alexandria clinging to a baby and a piece of the remains of the airship she had been on. It had been knocked from the sky by a bomb on board. Shortly after he and his crew fight off airsharks, and assassins. He fights to protect his crew which he feels is his family. His peaceful life is over. Matters are complicated by his support of women he feels are family or he sees as wronged. He is not good with women and that adds to the troubles. He is even threatened to be poisoned and shot by members of his own crew. The book has strong female characters, and is character driven. At 96,700 words, this is a full length novel'
