New Hope is the last human city in a world ruled by the walking dead. Resources are running thin so they are forced to branch out, to try to take back some of what they have lost - but this brings them into conflict with something even more deadly than the undead, a tribe of religious fanatics that are determined to destroy everything the residents of New Hope have built. The stories in the World of the Dead series take place twenty years after a zombie apocalypse. They focus on how humanity is adapting. They are tales of hope and survival.
