From his stir-crazy hospital ramblings, where at 24 he faces losing his arm, to his early gentle fatherhood moments, the magic just below the surface of his life evades him. Along the way he meets some wild characters: people on some kind of an edge who are all searching for the same thing. A reason. Something other than the crap masquerading as a life that was on offer. Some solace amongst other weary souls. He becomes mesmerised by a log floating just beyond the breaking waves. And he starts to ?get? it. Or does he?
