It's the late 90s'. Zimbabwe is in chaos. The economy is rapidly collapsing. Fungai Moyo, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry of trade, is disillusioned with his shady role of facilitating corrupt deals for the Vice President and senior government ministers. He wants to stop living a life of deceit and makes elaborate plans to disappear overseas. To fund his future, Fungai risks all by stealing top secret documents and two million dollars of bribe money intended for the ruthless Vice President Gondo. By the time the funds clear in Fungai's new offshore account, Gondo has discovered the theft and knows who did it.
