Magnolia Community Police Detective Juliana Brice has a most unusual crime to solve that she's labeled the mysterious pregnancies. Young women keep showing up at the local women's shelter claiming to have been impregnated without their knowledge or consent. Most have abortions or miscarry. The situation becomes deadly when graduating high school senior and Salutatorian, Catarina Francesco, refuses to abort her baby girl, even though a subsequent ultrasound indicates that the baby's limbs are horribly deformed. Someone or some group is determined that this baby not be born. Catarina's elderly reclusive neighbor, Estelle Rose, has the gift. Her visions have become most disturbing and she has a strong sense of foreboding that evil has slithered into their quiet community and threatens to tear families and friends apart.
