One reason for such is that we cannot teach principles we, ourselves, do not comprehend. Another reason is that our culture teaches that we own the monies in our possession. We must fully acknowledge that God is the source and owner of everything (including money). We are mere stewards who are required to faithfully manage the finances God has given us, according to God's financial principles. Obeying God and managing our finances according to His principles allows us to experience the joy of the Lord. Adherence to God's WORD results in the abundant life - a life lived for God.
