The apostle Paul speaks of the great falling away in 2 Thessalonians 2 that he said would exist as the world approached the end of the last days. I firmly believe Paul was speaking of a time when society as a whole (including those who claim to be Christian, but are not) would deny God and His absolute standards. If this is so (and I believe it is), we must ask how this has been achieved. What vehicle has been used? Political correctness has been creating a foundation of Cultural Marxism into American society for decades. This phenomenon began in earnest as the 1950s turned into the 1960s, which gave birth to the cultural revolution. As our society moved from one decade to the next, the changes that took place framed the way people thought, acted, and lived. Since that time, the insidious nature of Cultural Marxism has infiltrated all aspects of American society, including the home and family, education, entertainment/media, healthcare, politics, and the workforce. This has been accomplished through the increased acceptance of the unwritten code of political correctness; what some call emotional virtue. Many in society have long sought to be done with God and His absolute truth, endeavoring to replace it with something far more malleable. The result is that determining truth stems now from how we feel about something, not what God says is true. Society is clearly on a downward spiral and it appears that we are destined to go down that path. What should the Christian?s response to this problem be? How do we glorify God in this?
