A handbook for collectors of Aden stamps, from the first Crown Colony issue of 1937. It includes the protectorate states' issues of Kathiri State, Mahra State, Qu'aiti State and the State of Upper Yafa, and concludes with the Federation of South Arabia issues.

Formatted as a catalogue, this first edition lists all stamps issued by the various authorities of what was Aden and is now the Republic of Yemen. Each issue is illustrated, with the majority of stamps assigned a realistic market value, where this can be determined.

Intended as a guide, this book is not a dealer's price list but should provide collectors with a complete catalogue. It includes the later states' stamps which are either unlisted by mainstream stamp catalogue publishers or relegated to an appendix.
