If we are not changing in heart, mind, or body, then we are not traveling far, for change is the journey of life. The perplexing part for me is not in understanding that truth is an ever-evolving concept (just look at the evidence of aging), but that as spiritual travelers we are apparently on our own without a map to guide us through and help us adapt to this forever-changing world.? Part One of this book of poems, Travelers , explores our spiritual quests as well as our failures or successes in those quests?though we may not recognize them as such until time has passed. Part Two, Fado , or Longings, explores our tendency to want certain things to be true, and our unwillingness to accept them when they are not. Part Three, The Priest in Us , contemplates my belief that we all hold the capacity to be our own guides, both worldly and spiritual, in life. I invite you to explore such musings with me and to freely question the beliefs and concepts that accompany you on your journey through your life.
