Earth has been ravaged by the human race for generations and a globally militarized government, known as the United Military Initiative, now controls everything from the economy to the religions of the world. In this alternative view into the future, two hopeless souls named Amara and Emrys struggle to cope with the choices that are made for them and the consequences of a threat that is far beyond the government that rules them. Throughout the story, we learn more about Amara and her clouded history with Emrys, but we also touch on a dark and shrouded past. Together, Emrys and Amara piece together the clues that ultimately uncover the origins of a nearby planet called Seizonrenda and its inevitable destruction. The devastation left in the wake of this new threat is beacon, a warning that Seizonrenda was only the beginning.
