Moxie's Problem is a coming-of-age story unlike others in this genre. Moxie is an obnoxious, teen-age princess on her first verdure outside her father?s castle. She finds the real world is different from castle life and she struggles to come to grips with reality and to understand her role in that reality. Moxie knows she has to get a life, but doesn?t know how to go about it. Gradually, she develops a plan. Unfortunately, she is untrained and unprepared to act on her plan. This forces her to make a life-changing decision and a develop a second plan that is fraught with danger. She also needs help to get it started. She has to appeal to three knights who won?t be thrilled to hear about her plan. If she succeeds with the second plan, and if she survives, she will then be prepared to implement her original plan. The story takes place against the backdrop of Camelot with King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table, Merlin and Saxon bad guys. But, this isn?t the Camelot of legends. It?s Camelot in a parallel universe, so all bets are off!
