The author, Phyllis Cook has earned a Pastoral Certification, an associate degree in Applied Science, and has worked in a variety of volunteer ministries. She was a victim of depression that almost destroyed her life in her early adulthood. Through the gentle teaching of God's Spirit, she was able to free herself from a cycle of self-defeat. She shares powerful and effective common sense that worked for her to restructure and renew her thinking.
